Love Island viewers saw the arrival of the two new contestants this week in the form of Idris and Kieren.
However they didn’t arrive alone, as not long after the lads stepped into the villa did new girl Alexandra Cane enter, ready to get dating.
She began her introduction by inviting Dr Alex George on a romantic breakfast date.
The date went well, and Dr Alex came back buzzing for some more interaction with Alexandra.
But the new lads were also eager to get to know Alexandra, putting her in a position of power.
And tonight saw Alexandra making her final decision between Dr Alex, Idris, and Kieren.
After deciding on sticking with her first choice, Dr Alex, the new lads were left to go home.
Speaking about their exit, both of the ex-islanders confessed that they are “gutted” to be going home.
And Idris went on to mention that infamous kiss between Georgia Steel and Jack Fowler.
He explained: “When I was speaking with Laura, she seemed like a nice, decent girl so I decided to give her my opinion. That was how I saw things, that was my opinion of what happened between new Jack and Georgia on their date.
“To me, it looked like new Jack went in for the kiss. I could be wrong and Jack could be right but I felt it right to bring it up to Laura then because I thought she was a nice girl.”
Despite this controversial conversation, Idris admitted that he would like to return to the show.
When asked if he would go back, he said: “Yes, I’d want to crack on more!”
And Kieren felt very much the same, as he would “100 per cent!” want to re-enter the villa.
But could the pair’s short lived time on the show grant them another shot at the Love Island crown?
And if they were to return, would they continue to pine after Alexandra, or would they want to crack on with other members of the island?
Tonight’s show sparked fears of Jack and Laura Anderson’s split after the show posted tweets about them.
One tweet read: “BLANK isn’t even convincing himself he’s into BLANK let alone me.”
But unfortunately for Laura, the villa assumed this note was about her and Jack, leaving her upset about their relationship.
As the rocky relationship continues to have a difficult week, the pair have managed to stay together against all odds.
Love Island continues Sunday at 9pm on ITV2.
