Kate, 48, performed her honeymoon themed routine during Strictly Come Dancing’s Blackpool special, dancing to the song Everlasting Love by Love Affair.
Taking to the dance floor in a pink wedding like gown, Kate and Aljaz were joined by a number of professional dancers to bring their concept to life.
The couple were awarded a score of 30 by the judges, the exact same mark Kate was awarded for her Quickstep last weekend on the BBC dancing show.
However, during the routine one of the dancers seemed to get caught in Kate’s dress after she was lifted by three of the men.
As the dancers were placing her back on the floor to rejoin Aljaz, one dancer can be seen in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment trying to fight against the ruffles of the skirt.
Kate didn’t seem aware of what had happened and continued with the rest of the dance.
After being applauded by the audience and the judges for their routine, Kate and Aljaz joined host Tess Daly to hear the judges critiques.
Although there were one or two minor negative comments, the judges seemed very pleased with Kate’s efforts at Blackpool.
Head judge Shirley Ballas, 58, was the first to give her comments and said: “This week, Kate was consistent.
“You bring the most impeccable timing to the Ballroom. I can read every beat you’re taking.”
Shirley continued: “Now I want you to take one small chance with a little bit more striding out, just a little bit.
“Take a chance. Open those legs, move a little bit more,” she concluded.
Bruno Tonioli, 62, also praised the newsreader for her routine, adding: “That was so blissfully smooth. Well done.”
Craig Revel-Horwood, 53, did offer more negative critique, telling Kate: “I thought it lacked a little bit of energy, just in the slow bits in the beginning, then you warmed up.
“In and out of this was a little bit graceless, that could be worked on,” he added before also stating Kate could work on “more seamless transitions.”
