Kiosk Kev made his debut on the second episode of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! However, not everyone was pleased with his arrival.
In fact, some viewers made it clear they were disappointed Kiosk Keith was replaced with the bearded newcomer.
The drama unfolded when Fleur East and The Chase’s Anne Hegarty went to collect their treats after becoming the first campmates to take on the Dingo Dollar challenge.
As they walked up to the kiosk to retrieve their goods, X Factor’s Fleur exclaimed: “There’s a new man in town, Anne.
“We’d like the tea and scones with clotted cream, Kevvo.”
Despite their warm welcome, Kev did not say a word to the pair the entire time and slammed the shutters after the Snake Rock campers got the question wrong.
Viewers watching at home did not respond well to Kev and were quick to comment on Kiosk Keith’s new replacement on Twitter.
One unimpressed viewer groaned: “Umm Kiosk Keith is where? Kiosk Kev’s got nothing on him. I’m rioting.”
Another person joked: “Kiosk Kev? This is the biggest British tragedy since the sugar tax.”
A third commentator moaned: “Kiosk Kev just doesn’t have the same ring to it as Kiosk Keith!”
Someone else asked: “Sorry, but where is Kiosk Keith and who the f**k is Kiosk Kev? I need answers I’m A Celeb”
Meanwhile, another demanded: “Who the f**k is Kiosk Kev? Get him off my screen and bring back my boy Keith.”
Kiosk Keith is not the only newbie to join the ITV series this year, as Holly Willoughby, 37, replaces regular host Ant McPartlin, 43.
Ant, who usually presents the series alongside Declan Donnelly, has taken a year out from his TV duties to focus on his recovery, following his stint in rehab.
However, he did wish Holly and Dec good luck on social media, writing: “All the very best of luck to the little fella and @hollywills for the show tonight.
“Lots of love from the big fella!! A #ImACeleb Xxxxxx.”
Holly previously confirmed she would be handing back the presenting role on I’m A Celebrity to Ant once he is ready to return.
“I’m just looking after it until he gets back. It’s lovely that he trusted me with it,” the mother-of-three insisted.
“It’s totally unexpected to do this. You didn’t really want to have to be asked to do the show, it’s a weird one.”
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight on ITV at 9pm.
